Catherine Godson

Professor Catherine Godson has been awarded the prestigious John Vane Medal by the William Harvey Research Institute at Queen Mary University of London. This award recognizes her outstanding contributions to pharmacology and biomedical science throughout her career.

The medal is named after Sir John Vane, a Nobel Prize-winning pharmacologist who founded the WHRI in 1986. Catherine's research focuses on innate immunity and chronic complications of diabetes, and she is recognized for her leadership in molecular medicine and translational science. Congratulations Catherine!
