Get in Golf - Tuesday, 16 September 2025

In what was thankfully a dry Tuesday evening a great group of enthusiastic members participated in the IWF inaugural ‘Get into Golf,’ outing in Donabate Golf Club.  

It was a most enjoyable evening as the group of beginner golfers took to the practice green and quickly mastered the fundamentals of pitching and putting expertly guided by Pádraig, the Donabate Club Professional.  And nothing like a couple of hours golfing to whet the appetite where the hardy group adjourned for some well-deserved refreshments in the Clubhouse after the coaching session. 

Such was the level of interest and enthusiasm that a follow-on session is being organised to master the fairways and hopefully we’ll see even more members join the 'Get into Golf' group for a fun and relaxed couple of hours.
